Ugh, I want so many things all the time. I am so susceptible to reading reviews and then wanting to buy things. I’ve started bringing my iPad to work and I’m trying to figure out different ways to get more use of it as a productive tool.

I read a review of this on app advice. Basically, it’s a stylus for the iPad. I bring a notebook to all meetings that I go into and I wonder if I can eliminate some paper and keep notes more organized if I was able to sort them out on my iPad. Sometimes I will write down instructions on how to do something and then not remember where I wrote them down.

I wish I could try one for a week or so before I take the plunge. $29.99 is how much the Jot Pro costs, which is the one App Advice recommends.

Just to clarify this isn’t something I’m buying because I’m being good, but it’s just one of those things where I am trying to imagine the possibilities about how I could be more productive.

In other news, it’s been a week since I joined Weight Watchers so I had my first weigh in today and somehow I have lost 5 pounds! I really do feel like this plan can really work for my life. It’s helping that several friends of mine are doing it also so we are able to talk about it, keep each other accountable, encourage each other, etc. It’s great that it’s all online and I don’t have to go to a room full of strangers and talk about my weight. Everyone is hilarious and it’s making me very comfortable with the whole thing. I was nervous about dieting but I’m glad I am doing it.

Also I think it’s totally made for me since tracking my food feels like I’m checking in on four square or something. I’m checking my food into my body. I like it.
